Overlay

Overlay paper is a thin and sturdy paper sheet which, due to its properties, protects the materials on which it is applied, thus affording more resistance to the surface.

Basic Overlay 

Targeted at the high-pressure laminate (HPL) industry, where it provides a better finish and more resistance to the final product.

Abrasive Overlay

Overlay paper enhanced with aluminum trioxide, to increase surface resistance.
It is often used on flooring and on low and high pressure (LPL and HPL) laminates.  Levels of resistance: AC1, AC2, AC3, AC4 and AC5.

Liquid Overlay

Overlay paper prepared to receive the aluminum trioxide in the
customer’s production line. It can turn the paper from an AC1 into an AC5.
