Press Pads Ultimat® and Termax®

Is a high performance, silicone-based compensating press pad used in the production of particle board, medium density fiberboard (MDF), high density fibreboard (HDF), plywood, high pressure laminates (HPL) and other specialist products.

The unique engineered construction of the UltiMatTM press pad with its innovative ‘collapsible weft’ and modified silicone construction results in a press pad with much-improved compensation, excellent heat transfer capabilities and increased life cycle expectancy.

Other benefits include improved laminate production efficiencies and enhanced board surface finish.

Collapsible weft incorporating stainless steel wires (strong than copper) in a modified silicone construction.
Overall thickness of pad:1.5mm to 2.3mm.
Excellent compensation capabilities without heat transfer loss.
No memory effects.
Optional reinforced edges and corners reducing the potential for “white spots” and “window framing”.
